 J45 is an exciting rock band that generates a cool vitality on stage & keeps crowds energized. J45 fuses proven past styles with the clever melodic styling of today’s mainstream rock.
With influences of great classic rock artists, J45’s repertoire of original material flows easily, sometimes reminiscent of fun-loving Kim Mitchell & David Wilcox. At other times, driving guitar rhythms & riffs would have made Stevie Ray Vaughan proud. A nod of the hat to The Tragically Hip or slowed right down to lyrically powerful styles made popular by song masters like Neil Young.
A new 6-song EP is now available, representing a wide spectrum of personal stories including a tribute to September 11th, my nephew's speech about dinosaurs, an adventurous gig on a far away island, Mom's walk along the heavenly Gulf Coast beaches in Florida, Grandpa's love notes, and my brother's poetry.
Proudly from Ajax, Ontario, “J45” is an experienced live band with a large repertoire of music & a solid fan club. Cover tunes, old & new classic rock songs, include our own versions of Neil Young, Steppenwolf, CCR, REM, BTO, Tragically Hip, Cold Play, Pearl Jam, Stones....
